I have quite a large collection of vegan cookbooks, and this one is hands down my favourite. It beats Veganomicon, easily, as it is more reliable, and the recipes are simple and consistently awesome. So far, everything has been a massive hit, and several recipes from this book have found their way into our family's rotation of weekday meals and snacks. The mac and cheese, fajitas, pepitas, almond butter smoothie, and the best vegan pancakes I've ever had, are just a few items that have blown us away. I love that there is not a ton of soy used in recipes, and that there are many raw recipes, and raw adaptations to cooked ones. I highly recommend this book to anyone- long time vegan, carnivore, or anyone in between. It's fantastic!

As another reviewer said about this book, it is the best vegan/vegetarian cookbook I have found yet. I've been reading through it recipe-by-recipe with a gigantic, excited grin on my face since I opened it tonight. I have NEVER found a cookbook that had me underlining every single recipe to try later...every one looks like pure gold! From chilaquiles (mmm my favorite food when I went to Mexico) to coconut-line banana bread, monk bowls, live mango gazpacho, thai green curry, mac n cheese, peanut butter balls and more, this book has all kinds of unique and classic-but-veganized recipes. I've never seen so much goodness in one book and I cannot wait to try every one of these!

I have been looking to be healthier as a person and this book is great for anyone who doesn't have a lot of time. I have been Vegan for a month and a half now and feel better. This is a book for people trying to be healthy again.
