a worthy conclusion to a great series, Dec 16 2008
By William R. Harris - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Absolute Sandman, Vol. 4 (Hardcover)
Vol 4 is a very much a worthy conclusion to the Sandman series. It does an amazing job of bringing together all of the many (many) disparate threads into a single resolution that is totally and completely satisfying. While some may not like the simple art style featured in "The Kindly Ones," you'd be hard pressed not to admit that the art for "The Wake" looks beautiful and sets the tone perfectly.

The Sandman is one of the greatest comic series ever writen and this compilation, Sandman Absolute vol 1, 2, 3 and 4 have the quality that this piece of art deserves!
Awesome finishing, all the extras and comments, the box and hardcover are flawless!
This is a must have for any comic addicted and is the best "graphical novel" writen by Neil G. that you may ever find on earth!

Gaiman shines, Dec 16 2008
By J. Mentzer "badphonekarmagirl" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Absolute Sandman, Vol. 4 (Hardcover)
As is the case with the first three volumes, this over-sized, expensive book is more than worth the purchase price. Unlike many of DC's hardcover volumes, the quality of the Absolute editions is impeccable.
As for the material itself, it's Neil Gaiman. What more is there to say?
