3.0 out of 5 stars A decent series, best one out of the three Jun 13 2011

The first episode seems kind of an odd way to start the series but overall, it was a fun, low budget drama. The first season was the best because Alec's mother was very convincing, she did not make an appearance in either the second or third season. The racing scenes lack any feel of speed, the horses used all appear average-looking and are actually quite slow. It's disappointing that alot of the episodes don't have much at all to do with The Black, but are instead about other characters and their issues. The movies were way better.
