I purchased this book for a friend, so I have no personal aspect of it. He said he enjoyed it very much. :).. Definitely a man's book.

The Adventures of the Mountain Men: True Tales of Hunting, Trapping, Fighting, and Survival May 20 2013

An account of trapping history, written as such. Very methodical account of the history without much excitement. Not much different than listening to a history book.
