3.0 out of 5 stars And Why Not... Could Have Happened lol Oct 17 2012

So we have a family that claims to have experienced some sort of paranormal and demonic forces. At best it was entertaining and an easy read. The Lutz's may have only done this for fame and a bit of fortune, who knows for sure? The story did seem a bit over the top at times so my gut says that it maybe probably didn't happen to that extent. Regardless it was nice to get a bit more information because the movie didn't cover it all.

4.0 out of 5 stars For Real?! Jun 30 2009

Some of the things in this book seem unbelievable...it's a VERY easy read, I finished it in less than two days. It's definately better than the old movie, and the new movie is nothing like the book at all.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth Reading ! Nov 17 2007

Whether this all actually happened or not this is a great story. A very eerie and chilling account of what this family suffered through in the notorious DeFeo home. I read this book in a day and a half and was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I highly recommend reading this whether you believe Lutz's or not.
