Like the reviewer below, I too, had this book when it was first published but mine too disappeared. For years I have looked on and off to replace it but any copies to be found here in Quebec, cost a small fortune. Motorcity books sent me a really nice copy (for a 30 yr old book) and I paid a whopping $0.01 for it! What a find. Funny funny book, even if you don't live in Quebec. I bought another copy to give to a friend and am likely to buy a 3rd! Super deal if you have been looking for this little gem. Get it while you can!

I had this book when it was first published many years ago, and over the years it was lost. Finding it again is a real joy. I ordered it from DailyDeal, they responded right away. The book was shipped and I received it within days. The condition of this old book was excellent and I am just thrilled to be able to re-read this with the same enjoyment as I did years ago.... I still managed to keep the sequal to this Book, ANGLO 2.
Thank you so much.

Not so funny March 26 2013

I read this, hoping for humor, but the humor was that of young men, shall we say, of decades past.

Hilarious Oct. 13 2012

Much funnier than the other attempts at inside guides to Canada. For example, "'Je vais vous tuer' means "I am going to kill you." Unless you are a 'tu' type person, in which case use the more friendly "Je vais te tuer."
