Great Continuation of the Series Nov. 12 2014
By Reading To Distraction - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
I didn’t enjoy this book quite as much in the series. Practically, I understand why, but there was a lot of plot movement packed into a short period of time. We start with seeing how Qaira proceeds now that his memories are returned. At the same time, Lucifer forces Yahweh into a situation he hadn’t expected: commander in a war. As Heaven and Hell battle unfolds, the Judges find themselves freed from their contract and choose to invest in the fight. And in case that wasn’t chaos enough, Qaira now decides to follow up his past by seeing the war himself.

Though having a slower start for me, I was not disappointed by the end. By the halfway point, I was reinvested in the book and the last third has plenty of the twists that I should now expect from Whiteman. I will definitely be looking forward to seeing how the series ends! If only the last book was released as an eBook so I could indulge my hope for instant gratification.

Warning: Repeated explicit violence

Who should read it? Science fiction fans with a G.R.R. Martin twist, but I’d highly recommend the starting with the first in the series.

Best series ever March 18 2012

PLEASE hurry up and release the next book in the series. I am highly impatient, because these books are so fantastic.

Book 4 in this series concentrated a lot on the Archean's war strategies without ever being dull.
Violent, moving and utterly brilliant. I can not praise this author enough.
Continuation of a great series March 9 2012
By Walter Mitty - Published on Amazon.com

First I have to say I am surprised there are not more reviews for this series of books, either those that are reading them choose not to write a review or this series has not been "discovered" yet.

Terra Whiteman continues the story of Heaven and Hell and the Jury that holds them together in her refreshing personal style. If you have read the first books in this series then then you are already familiar with Qaira, Leid, Lucifer and Yahweh and the love/hate relationship that binds them together.

The latest entry for the series finds Heaven and Hell at war which releases the Judges from their contract and allows them to actively participate in the war. Of course, this also means they must choose which side to fight on. I don't like reviews that give spoilers to books as I would rather discover everything for myself however, I must point out that Alezair is gone and Qaira is back, and he is mad.

Terra Whiteman still explores the science and philosophy she has shown herself to have great knowledge in and by bringing Heaven and Hell to war she also displays a very strong knowledge in the strategies of war, movement of ground troops and air support as well as recon missions.

This a great continuation of her series and while I know it has to end at some point, I hope Mrs. Whiteman continues writing as she has a voice that compels you to read and want more.
