Earl Oliver Hurst was a popular magazine illustrator in the 40's and 30's, known for his tall and skinny pretty girls illustrations for Collier's Weekly magazine.
This book may not be the definitive book on Earl Oliver Hurst, but it is the only book about the artist.
There are a lot of color illustrations, some magazine covers, advertisements and a few rough sketches.

in my opinion this is a fairly good book, there isn't a lot of text, with big full page illustrations, that give a wide view on the artists work, from commercial works in magazines and advertisements to more personal drawings and water color illustrations.
I love this artist, and highly recommend this book to any one who likes early 20's centaury Illustration.
This is quite a rare book, drooping in and out of Amazon
So if you see it is out of stock, just have patience, it will probably reaper later.
