Verified Purchase
I had already bought two Bellflower Bunnies dvd's for my 3 year old and he loved them, so I went ahead and bought the remaining two, which included this one. The first episode is about Dandelion, a baby groundhog and a mean old bunny named Nettles. It isn't often that my little boy get's scared of a movie designed for small children, but he actually started shaking and said, "This movie bad, Mama. I scared!" He made it past the point where Nettles is swinging a pick axe at the baby groundhog without crying, but by the time Dandelion is poisoned and deliberately trapped underground alone, he had had it. What on earth was the writer of that episode thinking?! I have no idea how it ends, and we won't be finding out, but the first half of the episode is horrible and should not be shown to young children. The second episode is about Poppy falling in love with Pammy, and is much better. If you don't mind paying for a dvd, just to get one out of two episodes, then go ahead and buy this one. I like having complete collections of dvd's, so I'm glad I bought it, just to have the complete set. But I definitely won't be showing that episode to my son again, or any of his friends who come to visit.

My 4 year old daughter was given this dvd for her birthday...we put it on to watch together feeling pretty safe since the case has "family lessons abound" on the top - literally my four year old was hysterically crying barely half way through due to the "nasty neighbor Nettles" character. It shows him chasing a baby groundhog with an ice axe trying to "get him" shows him swinging and missing several times the last time he swings then it cuts to a different scene so you don't know if he hits the baby or not. Seriously - this is hideous. There is a line at the end about "alls well that ends well"...well, if your child doesn't have a nervous breakdown at the begining and can make it through the whole show maybe that is the case. Otherwise DO NOT SHOW THIS TO YOUR CHILD. The episode i am referring to is called "Dandelion and the Baby Groundhog". I'm seriously ticked off that my child saw this irresponsible movie claiming to be "suitable for all family viewing". Do yourself a favor - skip the Bellflower Bunnies.

Adorable story-great lessons March 14 2006

My 3 yrd. old son loves these bunnies! They are lovable and sweet and teach great lessons through their adventures. My son will often recite something from the movie whether it be sharing, or working together "It's always better when we work together" Highly recommended.
