This book is by far the funnest pregnancy-style journal you could keep. We are going through our first pregnancy so I am keeping a regular pregnancy journal as well as the "Belly Book'. I would recommend it to anyone who can find time to take a photo every week, print it and stick it in - it's alot of fun!!

I'd like everyone to be well aware though that when you first miss your period and find out you are pregnant you are already into week 4 so start your book at week 4. I started it at week 1 and now my weeks are all messed up because I am writing in week 5 when I am really 8 weeks pregnant... hope this makes sense.

I am very pleased with this book. I love how there is room for both pictures and information, ensuring that you remember all the wonderful (and not so great) moments of your pregnancy. However, I will give one warning. Before you start writing in the book, perhaps write some important details that you may forget (like the first day of your prenatal exam) on a separate piece of paper. I waited until I was 6 weeks pregnant before I actually transfered all my information I had written on external paper into the book. Sadly, I ended up miscarrying a couple of days later which now leaves me with a book that I can no longer use for my next pregnancy. When I order another copy I am going to wait a couple of months before I write in the book to ensure everything is fine. Whenever I hear someone is expecting now, I am going to buy this book for them.

I love this journal and will buy it for my friends when they are expecting too. I like that the entries are short and often guided, it gives structure without rambling. There is space for each trimester to go on further about how you feel. I love having the weekly pictures, and I don't always use "Belly Shots" but just show what is going on in Mom & Dad's life before the baby arrives... I know I've always been fascinated that my parents were people before me too! My only complaint is that a regular size printed photo is too big for the pages, so instead of gluing them in I have taped them at the top so they can flip up to read the entry below.

I bought this book as a gift and it is very funny and easy to use. The only downfall is that it has a space on each page for a weekly belly shot. For some people this might be too many and will have lots of blank spots.

This is an absoutely wonderful book! I received it as a gift during my first pregnancy and diligently wrote all of my pregnancy details in it as it unfolded. Documenting all the different changes weekly is helpful - and we really enjoyed adding weekly 'belly shots'! It is humerous and a wonderful keepsake! My husband also enjoyed adding his thoughts and reading it afterwards. I now buy this book for all of my friends when I hear that they are expecting!

This book has a cute appearance, and some cute spots for questions and answers, but I feel it wastes a lot of space asking for a picture every week of your pregnancy. It also ends your second trimester too early, and you have to keep flipping back and answering questions from earlier on because they aren't written in order. Doesn't give a lot of room for writing weekly, space taken up mostly for pictures. I would say you would be better off getting a photo album and putting your pictures in there.

I really like this book. I'm not creative so it gives a non creative person like me a chance to document things like pregnancy in a not so boring way.My only criticism is that there is no spot to post a picture of the woman on her due date. I fell like this is a really important day, and its missing! Also the book has you start documenting at 1 week i think, which is acutally 2 weeks before you even concieve. So it would be better if it started at week 4 and ended at week 41. But other wise this is a fantastic book.
