I recommend this DVD to any casual fan of the Kids in the Hall (as opposed to the addicts that will want to watch the whole series again). This DVD offers the equivalent of 4 "best of" TV episodes of the first two seasons, so roughly 90 minutes of hilarity. You won't find any "extras" worth of this name in this DVD. Be warned: your head will be crushed!

I loved Kids in the Hall back when it was on the air. It was a classic comedy show. I bought this DVD cuz I knew I'd get a good laugh. I did, but less than I thought I would. Maybe my sense of humor has changed a little, but I didn't find a lot of it as funny as I had hoped. There are some classic bits, like the Head Crusher and the Business Trappers. So, for that reason, it's a must have. But, about half of it was kinda throw away for me. The "Kids" are superb comedians when they hit the mark. Maybe Season 1 they were still ironing out some of the kinks. I recommend it, just not very highly.

I love the Kids In The Hall, and have seen every episode. This item is a really good way to introduce someone to the Kids if they are unfamiliar with their work, but if you are already a fan, I would skip this. It's just too short, considering all the great sketches they have to pull from. Just buy a season instead, and you'll get your money's worth.
