Product Description

From Amazon

As God dictated the first five books of the Old Testament, He enclosed prophecies in a skip code--that is, every fifth letter in a sentence forms a word. The trouble is, the Code is so divinely complex, you need a computer to find it. Now that we have those, and author Michael Drosnin, you too can read God's secret messages in The Bible Code. Drosnin was a reporter for the Wall Street Journal who turned into the Jeanne Dixon of the Middle East after "predicting" Rabin's assassination a year before it happened. Since then, with the help of mathematicians, he's been finding the bleak Future all over the Torah: an earthquake in L.A. (2010), a meteor hitting the Earth (2006, 2010, 2012, or all of these), and, of course, nuclear Armageddon (2000 or 2006). But don't write 2006 off yet, because the book says that the Code doesn't predict the Future, it merely reveals one possible future. Hmm. The Bible Code is this generation's The Late, Great Planet Earth. For those in the market, it delivers. --This text refers to the Hardcover edition.

Review

Newsweek Explosive....No wonder the book is causing a sensation.

Los Angeles Times A certifiable phenomenon. The text abounds with stunning predictions.

Time A new book says Rabin's murder was predicted, and there are dreadful things to come. Should we fear?

This review is from: The Bible Code (Paperback)
The Bible Code is a must read for everyone. It is absolutely fabulous and I could not put it down. Stayed up all night to finish reading it. The codes are real and the quantum mathematics definitely prove it. I highly recommend this book!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Cheating the answer, Mar 6 2010
By
This review is from: The Bible Code (Paperback)
When I was young 15 year old taking my physics classes, there were problems which I could not solve till I get the appendix or to the book answers.

Once I have got the answer I still had to solve the problem, trying to match my solution to the correct answer. However I always try to understand what I was not doing and what I was suppose to do to master that kind of scientific problems.

The Bible code seems to be similar to the same technique I used when I was young. The difference is that the author or the researcher will create his target as for example: Twin Towers and all synonyms then create the algorithms flowing pattern as ( 10,10,10,10 - 10,20,30,40, etc...).

I can guaranty to you that I can find Word-targets in any kind of books following a intelligent random algorithm.

Difficult to believe that a book would bring facts of the future hidden in its CODE.
And after something have happened it is very easy to say, I new it, I told it, I wrote it....

If future is already written why bother? you won't be able to change it anyway !! ( It was written by GOD )
Friends, Lets be rational and CREATE our future with our ACTION.

3.0 out of 5 stars An interesting read, but don't take it too serious, Dec 26 2007
By
This review is from: The Bible Code (Paperback)
We may have less than three years to save our world" says Michael Drosnin, an American journalist and best selling author. He has written two books claiming that he can see into the future using a 3000 year old code, hidden in the Bible. What he can see is truly horrific; according to Drosnin, the world could end in an atomic holocaust - in 2006. It sounds preposterous yet Drosnin claims to have serious scientific backing. Behind his findings lies the work of one of the world's most brilliant theoretical mathematicians, an Israeli professor called Eliyahu Rips. In 1994, using exactly the same ancient code, Michael Drosnin accurately predicted the assassination of the Israeli Prime Minister Yitzak Rabin - twelve months before it occurred. Drosnin's books on the Bible Code have been translated into most of the world's major languages and are read by millions of people. If he's right, he's stumbled on one of the most important discoveries ever made. On the flip side; people can get the same results from any book with a similar amount of pages. So, what about a War and Peace Code? Yellow Pages Code? An interesting read, but don't take it too serious.
