Nick Carter, a band of mercs take on Soviet plot in Africa

Sort of a routine Carter outing here. Some decent mercenary action and characters (these books are limited by page count) so more details are lacking. Plenty of action and interesting plot about diamonds and Russian intervention into Namibia. Lots of local flavor and color, a stand for these books. A willing and resolute little gal ready to open fire or drop her skirt for Nick. I wish the authors had done a bit more research on modern weaponry, loading processes and recoil effects. One major downer for this series. Still, a nice AXE romp through a murderous network to save a troubled nation. Four Lugers for this one.
