HASH(0x9d3cbea0) out of 5 stars Great for Church May 1 2009
By Stephen Stremmel - Published on
Format: Paperback
I am a lector in our church. Often at the end of mass I am called on to tell a joke--clean,of course--so the members can leave in a happy mood--which I think is a great idea. So once every two weeks I select a joke from the Catholic Joke Book.
The members love the jokes and so does the priest. It is great to see so many people leaving in a happy mood
Thanks for the book. S. Stremmel

I give it a 4 because some jokes are rehash of old jokes and they just change the person to a Catholic equivalent. However there are jokes here that are really funny especially when you have the basic Catholic background to appreciate it. Now take note this is not the best of best joke book around, but to find a joke book that has the ideals of Catholics, this is a rare find and I can easily give this to my kids without being worried about the jokes. Its a must buy.
HASH(0x9d31b0cc) out of 5 stars Terrible jokes for those without a sense of humor Feb. 19 2013
By Bricky112 - Published on
Format: Paperback
My friend is catholic and so are my parents so I decided to buy this book to tell them some funny jokes, a complete mistake. In what world someone could consider funny, I have no idea. Squirrels must have been the ones who "confirmed funny". Puns like, "what did the termite eat for breakfast? oak-meal" are funnier than this crap
HASH(0x9d31b6cc) out of 5 stars Mostly really funny April 19 2013

Many of the jokes are timeless classics. It's nice to have the book to commit them to memory so they can be used at dinner parties.
HASH(0x9d31b6f0) out of 5 stars Not worth the price Sept. 24 2011

Jokes a person has already heard - wording revised to conform to the title. Might be worth a buck ninety eight.
