A cult phenomenon returns with The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day. The vigilante MacManus brothers (Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus, reprising their roles from the first movie) have retired to Ireland, but a copycat killing of a Boston priest brings them back to dish out their unique brand of quasi-spiritual justice. The story line doesn't differ much from the first movie; the brothers have a new sidekick (Clifton Collins Jr., Capote) and a new pursuer, FBI agent Eunice Bloom (Julie Benz of Dexter, striving to take the place of Willem Dafoe from the original), but it's basically a series of shootouts in which the brothers pop up "unexpectedly" and blast a bunch of cartoonish criminals to pieces. The Boondock Saints was not a good movie, but it had a weird, unique energy--you couldn't tell if the movie took itself so seriously that it was ludicrous or if it was mocking itself while reveling in its absurd extravagances. All Saints Day has the same ridiculous swagger and baroque macho dialogue, but this time the spark is missing (with the exception of Collins, who brings all his dependable live-wire energy). Some cult fans will be disappointed, but others will still find things to enjoy. Also featuring Scottish comedian Billy Connolly (reprising his role as the elder MacManus), Judd Nelson (The Breakfast Club), and Peter Fonda (Easy Rider). --Bret Fetzer

“Well, I’ve seen this and I love it, when you can’t take any movie for what it is,you should not be watching movies,
that’s what movies give you, entertainment, regardless if it’s bad or not,it makes for good discussion, and I love it,
I love the Mexican, played by (Clifton Collins Jr.) he was hilarious, and for some reason the Constant swearing never
really bother me,everyone in the movie was like a wild dog on steroids, not “Julie Benz”though, this girl is “Hot”
haven’t seen “Judd Nelson”in quite a while, what really give me that realistic feel is,when they left Ireland, for Boston,
it wasn't shown that they were in Boston right away, they were on a ship, any other movie, shows you it that way,
even though they are wanted fugitives, Donna Robertson-Balzer. you’re right it is Funny.
Disc 1 Director’s cut 2 Hours 18 Minutes.
Disc 2 Theatrical cut 1 Hour 57 Minutes.

Easily one of the worst movies of all time. If you liked the first movie, which was awesome, do yourself a favor and avoid this one at all costs or it will tarnish your memories of the first one. This movie was made for the lowest common denominator of human intelligence. Seriously and I don't mean to sound like a know it all smarty pants, because I'm not, but this movie is probably akin to being "The Godfather" for anyone living in a trailer park. I hate this movie and don't want a single other person, intelligent or not to waste their time on this complete mess.

This is now my most hated movie, EVER!!! I am an avid movie watcher and this is the second movie I have ever turned off before I finished it. I have never been so insulted when considering the calibre of the first movie. I wish I could get my money back. It does not deserve 1 star. In fact, if I could give it a negative rating I would.
