That's my review of The Collector series (Season one).
I have to say, the acting is pretty good and the plots are engaging. There's enough character development without depth to make me want to care but no more than that. Some of the "clients" can be annoying when they are faced with the choice between eternal damnation and salvation. They think the completion of their Earthly mission has more weight than redemption. Go figure.
One of my favorite scenes is when Satan takes the form of a little girl, played by Jodelle Ferland, and says to Morgan Pym, with an annoyed look her face while holding a doll, "He's nothing but a poopy head."
I'm disappointed the show only lasted three seasons. Some shows should end on the third but this wasn't one of them. If I had to take a guess, "The Collector" became another victim of mindless comedies that dominate the airwaves.
If you're interested in a show that does the opposite of "The Collector", see "Brimstone". It's about a former cop who has to return 113 evil souls back to hell. John Glover (Lex Luthor from Smallville)portrays the Devil.
I will rate this show based on the entire first season and wish I could give it even more than just a 5/5 rating. The only reason I would consider giving it less than 5 stars is because it only lasted 3 seasons. This show should have outlasted most of the shows on TV now.

Excellent fantasy series, Bought season 1, and waiting to buy season 2. Hopefully Season 3 will be out soon. An item of note is that season 1 is not listed as such on amazon.caPublished on June 14 2010 by Bruce Flynn
Speaking as UK resident, this is a shamefully neglected series, tucked away on an obscure channel and in the On Demand section of cable TV. Read morePublished on June 15 2009 by Liz Anfield
This is in my top five of shows I like. It has it all. Acting, plot, timing, and tightly directed. My only disliike is that there are only 30 something episodes.Published on May 16 2009 by Danny Easterling
