This book is filled with such a wide variety of recipes that I felt I was walking through a garden of delights. Some of my favorite foods include fish, seafood, chicken and eggplant and there were so many recipes covering all of those, Greek ones, Italian ones and a plethoria of others. One of my all time favorites was included,stuffed squid and of course there were a variety of garlic bread recipes including "Gourmet Alley Garlic Bread". It is a remarkable book and I am so grateful I was able to find it. Thank you Amazon.

The reviewer who threw the book out made an error by saying that there was only 1 1/2 cups of liquid: the recipes calls for 1 1/2 cups of buttermilk AND 1/2 cup of cream. Also, it says to add some more buttermilk IF the soup is too thick. Given that this is a very rich soup, it would indeed be appropriate to serve 4 with a half cup for each person.
Aside from this correction, I would like to add that I have made several things from this book and am satisfied that it is well worth acquiring for any garlic (and food!) lover.
