HASH(0x9fa99c18) out of 5 stars Cliffhanger! March 6 2012

The outstanding first book of the Zambezi Chronicles takes the reader through layers of southern Africa's seedy politics twisted with questions of family loyalty, conspiracy and the possibility of a natural disaster (or so it seems!). Kopp's first book speaks from first hand accounts blended with a flair for telling an incredible story.

HASH(0x9ff5a510) out of 5 stars High expectations but short on delivery Sept. 26 2012

I had very high expectations in relation to this book but I have to say I was slightly disappointed with it. The story line and the characters where interesting but the delivery was poor and disjointed. I also did not like the way it ended forcing you to purchase a second book to know what developed.
In short could have been better

HASH(0x9fbb4d38) out of 5 stars Great Read! Nov. 21 2012

This was a great political thriller (I think that is the category it would fall under). I can't wait to read the next one. The characters were well developed, the story was fast paced, and I enjoyed the well researched African setting by an author who grew up there!

HASH(0x9fa91f30) out of 5 stars Hooked! Sept. 11 2012
By T. Rooney - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
Kopp's ability to blend his first-hand knowledge of Africa with a fictional plot makes this book highly realistic. In fact, I couldn't put it down! The ending will make readers want to start the next book in the series immediately. This book is a "must read."

This could be a work of non-fiction! The author certainly knows and understands the way that (unfortunately) some things work in Africa. I could not put it down.
