5.0 out of 5 stars Mortal Kombat with a Twist, Dec 1 2002
By Tracy R. Mahoney "gamediva2112" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Crow (Video Game)
If you liked Mortal Kombat, you'll really get a kick out of this, plus you will have a game that is far more collectible than Mortal Kombat and made by the same development team at LJN Games. Based on the movie starring the now deceased Brandon Lee, this action packed fighter will pump your adrenalin. There were a low number of copies of this game released. The value of this game will continue to go up if it is kept in mint condition. A must have for any Playstation collector.

Oh this is Akklaim they made a lot of movie based games most of them pretty are bad. If you read any of my reviews in early 2010 you probably read reviewa for The Crow movies. The Crow from 1994 starring Brandon Lee is a great movie solid movie. 2 years later The Crow City Of Angels now it is an underrated sequel if you read my review for it I reviewed the theatrical version & Crow City Of Angels second coming a fan edit. Crow COA didn't make a whole of money at the box office it flopped for whatever reason & somehow got a game based off it. I decided to check the game out for myself cause this game is hated by a lot of people only 2 people on here like it I found it to be an ok game. The voice acting is bad. The controlls are pretty stiff Ash can be hard to move around which you can get pwnd very easily but you get a assortment of weapons like bats, knives, crow bars, steel rods, hand guns, shot guns, automatic weapons & a gernade launcher. Each location has to do with the movie. You go after Spider Monkey, Kali, Nemo, Curve then Judha. Spider Monkey is somehow a good fighter when in the movie Ashe easily kills him. He can be harder than Judha. Kali can be hard too she disappears reappears I had no problem defeating Nemo. Curve has a guitar that shoots rockets I'm thinking did Akklaim even see the movie. Judha can be beaten if your lucky enough to back him in a corner & repeatedly punch or round house kick him. It's an ok game but just don't go & buy it expecting a great game don't spend $30 or even more for it just because it's rare I know it's the only Crow video game but why didn't they just make 1 for the more successful 1st movie. I'd say watch The Crow & then Crow COA second coming.

This is actually based on the second movie of the crow series without brandon lee. this is based on vincent perez's character ashe. the crow city of angels video game was awesome when i first bought it years ago and i can not wait to own it again so i can relive while i replay this awesome game. i wish they would make a game based on all of the crow movies since i am a huge fan of them. even make some based on the crow comics that didn't make it on film. one huge game with different characters with their own story line even would be very nice. hint hint :)
