I loved this book!! I didn't want to put it down. It pulled me into the world of cystal women and clan lords. Susan Richards had been having dreams of a golden eyed warrior.These dreams came from the Widows( women whose Clan lords had died and they had great powers) They realized Susan was the woman foretold about in a prophecy and that their world needed her powers.Powers Susan had hidden from herself.Previously only the Crystal women of their world had had these powers But with their deaths no crystal woman lived cept one. Jared Si' Dakbar's brother Ruhl had murdered all the women and children so he could reign supreme. His crystal woman was the only one left alive. The only way to defeat him the prophecy foretold was for a crystal woman to issue the challenge with her clan lord. Only by combining her power with his could they succeed.The character had to accept her powers. This book was very detailed and the story was very interesting.I would have given it a 10 if I could. If you are looking for a great Futuristic Romance get this book you will not be disappointed!!

When I started this book I couldn't put it down. The plot and the characters draw you in. You feel the Susan's confusion as she is pulled between her time, her brother and all that is familiar and the world of Jared, her soulmate. Is her love for Jared enough for her to brave the danger that threatens Jareds world with distruction? Will it be it enough to let the powers that had her labeled as a freak in her time run free? If you like PSI and magic this book has got it. It is fill of action and is not so boged down with ideas of how the society is run, new tearms and technology, that it loses you as with some novels set in the future. Its also got a healthy dose of romance throwen in. I will be buying the the sequal.

Excellent book! Couldn't put it down. Ms. Tarantino's characterizations are thorough and in depth. You come to know and care about the people in her story. Her descriptions and her use of imagery enables you to visualize the world she's created in stunning detail. Both The Crystal Prophecy and The Crystal City are intense, detailed stories of good -vs- evil in a world in the far future. They contain multifaceted plots of suspense and tension interwoven with a budding timeless romance. I highly recommend both books.
