5.0 out of 5 stars Discworld Almanac 2005 July 14 2010

I only discovered Terry Pratchett a few years ago and soon became an addict. Since he cannot write as fast as I would like, I am tracking down the Almanacs for various years in order to support my addiction between new titles. My only major complaint is that they were apparently not printed in the U.S. originally, and are a little hard to find within my price range. I was really happy to find this one. It came quickly, and is in good condition.

1.0 out of 5 stars Didn't care for it.I April 10 2011
By Dave Doyle - Published on Amazon.com
I love Pratchett's work, and own all books in the Discworld series. That said, I didn't really care for this. While it had a lot of the discworld themes to it, it didn't feel at all like Pratchett's work. The humor was sparse and limited, and a fair number of the pages existed just to make it feel like an almanac. Hardcore fans and collectors should get this, but the average fan probably should skip it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fan candy June 27 2007

If your not a discworld fan I don't even know why your reading the reviews for this item. This another supplement and if your not fan it's kind of a slow read. Especially due to the archaic spellings.
