Interesting Deck,

I find this deck interesting. The art work is nice, the size of the cards are perfect. I would recommend them to any one who is interested in the Druid ways.

Beautiful deck,
By
This review is from: The Druidcraft Tarot (Paperback)
This deck is wonderful to work with - accessible to the novice , but not so simple as to turn off the experienced reader. It is a nature based deck with beautifully detailed and inspired artwork, drawing on the Celtic/Druid pantheon and symbols - however, it does not lose touch with traditional symbols making it both fascinating and relevent. The cards are very large scale - 3.5" x 5.5" - and may be awkward for small hands. The book is very thorough and breaks down the deck by Court cards, Major Arcana and by numbers in the pips - this allows the reader to see the significance in the card's number as well as the suit. I encourage people to use this deck to help them read intuitively and use the book as back up, despite its usefulness, because of the quality of the artwork. Illustrated by Will Worthington, who also illustrated the Druid Animal Oracle (with the Gomm's) and the Green Man Tree Oracle, the deck is a treasure for the art itself. (If you are a nature/Celtic enthusiast - you'll want all three decks) Everything about this set is high quality and highly recommended!

Wonderful Art...,
By Seamatron (Williams Lake, British Columbia Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Druidcraft Tarot (Paperback)
My son was given these by a girlfriend but they are very large cards and my son is not most dexterous, so they ended up selling the deck to a friend who is delighted with them.As I recall the meanings and pictures vary a bit here and there from the Rider-Waite but generally follow the symbology, so, good for newbies: don't fuss over it. You can develop your own intuitive rapport with these cards and/or simply learn meanings from the book that comes along with the cards. If you can manage the large size they are a great Tarot oracle giving spot-on readings and the artwork makes reading a real treat.
