This exploration of the most recent paintings and sculptures of one of the world’s most important living artists includes more than 30 works made over the past three years, and focuses on the artist’s ongoing rigorous investigations of color and form.~The chromatics of the paintings reproduced here are balanced by Kelly’s strictly calculated compositions, in which the literal shapes of his canvases, often joined and overlapped, enter a dialogue with the colors that allows them to advance and recede.
