4.0 out of 5 stars A Fantasy Game for Teens+ May 28 2012

Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I previously owned this game for the xbox 360, and upon completing 'Skyrim' for the Ps3, I decided to buy this for the Ps3 and gain all the trophies for it as I did in 'Skyrim'. Little did I know, there are no trophies for this game on the Ps3. Regardless of that fact, this game is fun, exciting, and entertaining. A heavy recommendation on my part for any players who have yet or have already played 'Skyrim'.

5.0 out of 5 stars Game is on 12 to 18 hours a day Mar 7 2012
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I started playing this game the day it arrived and within 2 weeks my husband was asking for time to play his own character. Between us we play most of the day. This is the dungeon style game we have been wanting and never knew existed. It is a total open gaming world which we both prefer. No getting stuck on some mission you can't beat like in linear games. You are free to go anywhere and do any missions you come across and completely ignore the main story line if you want. I like to do a bit of both but really enjoy the freedom to do what I want depending on my mood at the time. The character setup can be customized and this has us both creating 2 or 3 different ones to approach the game as a magic user or fighter or thief or combinations.
I am enjoying it so much I am glad Borderlands 2 has been delayed once again. By the fall I might be ready to give this a rest. It is good that we are retired or the fun would be a real problem. It is fun to watch someone else play so you don't have to leave them feeling abandoned. Let the playing begin I think it is my turn now.
If you like open world gaming buy this you won't be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Oblivion, a world of it's own. Dec 18 2010
Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
This game is basically a country. A landscape filled with hundreds of quests, thousands of NPCs and endless multi-level dungeons and caves.

It's an RPG, and probably the best action-rpg i've ever played, and I've been gaming for 15 years. I wont go into the story, because you can read up on that elsewhere, or better yet, experience it yourself by playing the game. Even though it's been out for almost 5 years, i still consider it the best looking game on PS3 to date. I've played Fallout: New Vegas and Gran Turismo 5 (recent titles) and Oblivion still looks better. You can seriously get immersed in this game and lose yourself (and sense of time).

It's a level-based game (1 to 100 i believe) and theres an endless combination of character classes you can make, not to mention all the interesting weapons / items in the game to keep you occupied.

I recently jumped back into it and started a new character which I've put about 80 hours into, and he's only level 16... So it will definitely keep you busy for awhile without getting boring. BUY IT!
