Brandon Sanderson' s style is natural, good flow. No run of the mill, twists and turns that goes on and on forever . Plot is original, refreshing and highly entertaining . Like the main character Shai' s work, this novella is indeed a masterpiece of a story.

It is so unique this should make into a movie.

An enjoyable read - if only novella length. Certainly the main characters are engaging and could have been developed more through flashbacks, leading to a longer novel-length read. The talent is definitely there and the story quite interesting. I look forward to more books set in the same setting, and even with the same characters.

Again, Brandon takes an idea and turns it into a creative and imaginative story creating a new thread in the genre. A delightful read that makes one admire even the criminal for their artistic integrity.
