Too long the dominant biblical interpretations have shaped discourse. This book looks at key moments in the Bible, and reads into those times alternatives and thought provoking motifs, that are laid out in easy to read dialogues between the characters of the story. What would people, marginalized and immigrant people, think of God's place within and throughout various places and encounters within the Bible? This book looks at that, and then seeks to take it back to our own time and context, with discussion prompting questions at the end of every chapter. A marvellous book, one that seeks to engage the Biblical text to an ever-expanding audience, and to readers that seek a truer understanding of God.
