2 songs missing from the '82 set are not enough to lower the rating of this treasure. Dec 25 2012

I'm a huge fan of the US Festivals, particularly the '83 edition. I collect all performances, either official releases or bootlegs. So if you're like me, you don't even need to read any reviews to purchase any US Fest performances available out there. I also bought Quiet Riot & Judas Priest on the same Amazon order. Received them on December 24th, 2012. Best Christmas presents I've ever given to myself. Watched this one on Christmas Eve. Will watch the other two on Christmas Day.
The 2 songs missing from the '82 set are RANKING FULL STOP and BIG SHOT. They were played at the beginning of the set but the master source got damaged.
I added personal photos of the back and inside to the item page*. Advice: backup as ISO with DVDDecrypter.
*EDIT-07/22/2013: Apparently Amazon didn't like my photos and has since deleted them.

Rare document of The English Beat live Sept. 20 2012

I was very happy to see this being released. High quality video of the original line-up hasn't exactly flooded the market. What an amazing band, plus Saxa makes a wonderful appearance during the 2nd set (check out the cool ending sax solo). My only disapointment is as they state in the cover, the first two songs of the 1st set are lost. And to me it seems the sound men took a little while to get the bass up in the mix of the first set. But other wise this is just wonderful to own. Go out and see Dave Wakeling's English Beat if they come anywhere near you. You will have a great time!

A great performance, hampered by the acoustics of performing at an open-air festival.

What a fun cd set. Live tracks are good and dvd shows at US Festivals are well done. Fun to see band with TWO sax players! They look so young too.

My copy came with boxed set.

Play loud and enjoy!

If you like this, buy the reunion concert dvd.

Just Great July 27 2013

This DVD really gives you a really good idea about the English Beat and their music. The Sax player is excellent as well as the whole band. What a nice thing to have this become available. Generally very good photography considering that live performances at the time were not really the order of the day.
