5.0 out of 5 stars 2 songs missing from the '82 set are not enough to lower the rating of this treasure. Dec 25 2012

I'm a huge fan of the US Festivals, particularly the '83 edition. I collect all performances, either official releases or bootlegs. So if you're like me, you don't even need to read any reviews to purchase any US Fest performances available out there. I also bought Quiet Riot & Judas Priest on the same Amazon order. Received them on December 24th, 2012. Best Christmas presents I've ever given to myself. Watched this one on Christmas Eve. Will watch the other two on Christmas Day.
The 2 songs missing from the '82 set are RANKING FULL STOP and BIG SHOT. They were played at the beginning of the set but the master source got damaged.
I added personal photos of the back and inside to the item page*. Advice: backup as ISO with DVDDecrypter.
*EDIT-07/22/2013: Apparently Amazon didn't like my photos and has since deleted them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rare document of The English Beat live Sept. 20 2012

I was very happy to see this being released. High quality video of the original line-up hasn't exactly flooded the market. What an amazing band, plus Saxa makes a wonderful appearance during the 2nd set (check out the cool ending sax solo). My only disapointment is as they state in the cover, the first two songs of the 1st set are lost. And to me it seems the sound men took a little while to get the bass up in the mix of the first set. But other wise this is just wonderful to own. Go out and see Dave Wakeling's English Beat if they come anywhere near you. You will have a great time!

5.0 out of 5 stars Classic April 30 2014

If I have a complaint ... it's only that I want more. A great band at their height. The Beat has always been my favorite ska band and this is a nice example of why. This is a great value.

3.0 out of 5 stars Thin Sound March 1 2013

Loved the band in the day. The DVD though gets a little boring and I thought the mix on the DVD was pretty thin.
5.0 out of 5 stars Phenomenal Mix June 17 2014

The DVD is a wonderful pro shot of the US Festival performances by one of the greatest ska bands ever at a time when they were meteoric in their career. I don't often leave feedback but wanted to on this one because I wanted to state for the record that the 5.1 mix on the DVD is Fabulous! It helped to feel as though I were transported back to 1983, hope that doesn't make me biased! Many thanks to the sound engineer and those involved in putting this out there. I really enjoyed it.
