As a starting point for Dion, this is as good a place as any to begin. When I say begin, there's an incredible journey ahead of you. The music of Dion from his early days with The Belmonts to his recent excursions into blues is breathtaking in it's scope. If even half the tunes on this album move you enough to delve further into the groove of Mr DiMucci, may I suggest the Dion boxed set of 3 CD's, "King Of The New York Streets". That should satisfy most Dion fans and then some, but keep up with his newer releases "Bronx In Blue" and "Son Of Skip James", and whatever else he may release these days. His Christmas album is a rocking good time as well. I would be hard pressed to name my top 5 male vocalists of all time as there are so many incredible ones, but Dion would certainly have to be included SOMEWHERE on that list. This CD as stated is a good place for a new fan to start, but just buying this one Dion CD would be like having a Beatles collection that only consisted of "HELP!", great as it goes, but SO much more great music to discover.
