Best book I have read about the Toltec Path to Freedom and Enlightenment.
It is simple and down to earth, yet powerful and profound. For the person who seeks happiness, regardless of life's circumstances, this book shows the way. All you need is a willingness to let go of what your mind tells you, and begin again, with Allan's prompts, as you are guided by your own Inner Source.

Allan Hardman is a Master Teacher who demonstrates the real meaning of Love.

HASH(0x9ae25f84) out of 5 stars The Best for Clarity and Simplicity Dec 13 2007
By Zoeeagleeye - Published on Amazon.com

I wanted to write this review because I come to this book after 10 years of study and practice in the field. I had never heard of Hardman, though I was an admirer of Ruiz. I read this book with someone who was just beginning to learn about the Toltec way. Both of us found the prose, the ideas, the organization and presentation to be of the highest quality. We also appreciated the use of both the male and female pronouns.

Hardman has taken a deep and difficult area of life-changing information and given it lightly and pointedly to the world in such a way that most anyone can use it to the max. Whether you intend to go all the way to freedom, or just use the information to understand your life and the world better, this is the book for you. As you read this book, expect to cry, to get very angry and sometimes anxious. But if you persist with the instructions Hardman lays out so succinctly (along with several case histories), eventually you will begin to breathe easier, increase your awareness and energy, love yourself more, understand others more deeply than you ever thought possible, and ultimately you will discover within yourself more freedom, power, love and joy than you knew existed. This is a book for all stages and levels of awareness and practice. We all need to know at times the next step or be reminded of what we have temporarily forgotten on our way to being a Master of life. What does that feel like? Hardman describes it this way: "The beautiful life lived by the Toltec warrior is always connected to the life force of spirit that is in and through all of creation. The love and happiness that he experiences radiates out from him . . . He sees the beauty of spirit in every person . . . He knows what he wants and doesn't want. . .By staying present in each moment, the warrior embraces his life fully, giving and accepting gifts of abundance that are the nature of spirit." This life is waiting for you now and this book will help you achieve it.

HASH(0x9ac55360) out of 5 stars Easy to read and easy to understand Toltec Wisdom book Oct. 7 2007
By Scotty - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This book contains 20 chapters that I feel are well organized. Each chapter is well written using simple language, fairly large print and there is a lot of room to underline or high-lite key concepts that grab you or to make notes in the nice wide margins. It is an interesting read that is enjoyable. Because every chapter has about a half-dozen headings (Each in large green print) it is simple to read a couple of pages, put it down and then come back to the book again later. The format of this whole book makes it easy to read and understand. For example there are many side-bar comments in each chapter which focus on: common questions, important facts, essential tips to understanding, and actions the reader can take.

Bottom line: I highly recommend this book to those who want to understand a path to a happier life. The path itself is maybe is not "real easy" but this book is sure easy to read and easy to understand. If you want don't want to change your life then don't bother reading this book since this book is about you changing your way of perceiving. If you want to change then I'm sure you will enjoy this book a lot.

HASH(0x9b4598d0) out of 5 stars If you really want to understand the Path with Heart... Aug. 25 2007

Allan Hardman is a master of translating the mysterious Toltec Path into concepts that are easy to understand both intellectually and emotionally. This, and all his writings, will help you look at the world in a completely different way. I also encourage you to look at his website [...] for more of his work. Great Work, Allan!

HASH(0x9abd0eb8) out of 5 stars Okay as far as it goes Feb. 7 2012

As the book promises, the Toltec wisdom is based upon three masteries: the mastery of awareness, the mastery of transformation and the mastery of intent. The book is very well organized around these three principles. If you want to understand the mastery of surrender and the mastery of being as contrasted with the other three masteries that involve intention, thinking and doing you will have to look further. This, to me is not the path of the heart but the path of the intellect. Which is okay. The intellectual understanding has to come first.

HASH(0x9abe0e58) out of 5 stars NOT worth the trees it was printed on! Dec 11 2013

In my opinion this author makes a bit of a mockery of Toltec traditions talkng about Santa Claus and all kinds of irrelevant stuff... I first studied Don Miguel Ruiz, and I think I will stick to him, this just reads like a new-age California hippy cashing in on people desire to reconnect with ancient knowledge...poorly written......instead, I recommend Don Miguel's books, or The Gift of Forgiveness by Oliver Clerc, or Beyond Fear by Mary Carol Nelson
