5.0 out of 5 stars All Time Favorite Book Oct 29 2003
I won first place in a coloring contest when I was 12 y/o. This book was my prize. I looked at it and didn't think it was interesting, so it sat on my shelf for about 4 or 5 years - which is amazing because I love to read. Finally one day I wanted something good to read so I started "The Falcon and the Serpent". I absolutely loved it! It was so amazing! I dream of being in that time - I long to be back there in those days. It was so well written and I wish they would make a movie about her book. The pages are getting old now and the cover, worn from so many times of reading it. It is my most favorite book of all time! I wonder if she's written anything else??

5.0 out of 5 stars Thouroughly enjoyed this book Jan 19 2007

I am not much of a fiction reader, but I found this book hard to put down and enjoyed reading about all the characters developed in this book. The first two chapters start slowly introducing us to the main characters. It took me awhile to get them all straight. Nevertheless, once underway, the plot moved quickly and I was anxious to discover the outcome. While the author unearths the typical plot of good vs. evil, the ancient setting and powers of darkness are anything but typical. Very entertaining. This book is a great read.

5.0 out of 5 stars i didn't know what I was in for... Aug 9 2002

I was walking through a used book store when I found this book. It looked pretty old and very well loved. Intrigued, I pulled it off the shelf, dusted it off, and read the title. I'm a Christian fantasy nerd, so I decided to buy it right off.
I had no idea I would stay up until 6 in the morning reading it until I finished it. I simply could not stop. The author invents entire societies, complete with customs, beliefs, and histories. But it's no bore- trust me, I'm 15. Don't make the same mistake I did- save this one for-a rainy day? No. Save it for a blizzard. You won't want to stop until it's over. Then, you'll feel like crying because it IS over.

I read this book in 6th grade, and I am 20 now. I've always remembered it because it was so awesome. Let me know if you find a copy:)
