I've been on her plan for a week and lost 6lbs! The book is a really good read too-full of science stuff and explains how your metabolism works. If u have more than 20 lbs to lose you'll be eating a lot of food! She claims the more u need to lose the more u need to eat. It's working so far for me! Get used to drinking a ton of water and cooking a lot. If you plan ahead you'll be cooking less. U just need to make bigger portions so u can eat the leftovers the next day or freeze them for later. She encourages uses your crockpot and making a large portion. It takes some getting used to but after a week it's easy:)

I started this diet only 5 days ago, but I love it. I have already lost 6 lbs. It really is very easy to follow the plan and it's pretty straight forward. The recipies are so yummy and easy to make. Honestly, it's just a plan for how we should already be eating, but in a specific way, on specific days so your metabolism really gets burning. For those of us who need help with learning how to eat properly, this book is great! People have said in other reviews that you don't need to buy this book to eat healthy. "Just eat healthy and exercise", they say. I'm tired of people who think it's soooo easy to do. This book is for those of us whom is not so easy and I totally recommend it!!

P.S. I took Haylie's suggestion and had a cooking day. I made the Turkey Chili and the Chicken & Veggie Soup. I froze each serving in single freezer tupperwares and marked which phase they were for. It makes it so much easier, especially if you are a busy person! :o)

I saw the ad in a magazine for this book and i was skeptical about purchasing it, but went ahead and did so. the book is an easy read and very informative and educational. i like the way Haylie adds her little "geek" descriptions. i learned so many things about the various organs in our body and how they work and it all makes sense.

i am on my 3rd month on this program and i have already lost 23 lbs. it took me a couple of days to get adjusted to the variety of foods and the way of eating, but once you master it and plan it out, (which is key to the success of this program) its a breeze. the recipes are awesome. i have shared them with my friends and they loved them.

i was recently away on a business trip for a week and tried to eat properly and follow the program, but that didn't go to well. i not only felt awful, i gained two pounds. when i returned home, i went back on the program and lost the weight i gained and i feel great!

this is a book that i will keep and will refer to in the future. totally recommend it

When I read this book to learn about the diet, what Haylie talks about just makes sense!! My husband and I just started it a week and a half as go and have already lost 9lbs each!! Haylie makes it so easy to do with the phase food lists, recipes and meal maps but still leaves room for flexibility. We love this diet and plan to incorporate some if the recipes into our daily lives!!

I bought the book and cd at the same time as I like to be able to listen while driving etc. Maybe that is why I didn't find it as complicated as some people have found it.

After week one - (getting off coffee and suffering through a few days of headaches - to be expected for my 5 cup/day habit) I was down 6 lbs! just wrapping up the second week now and have lost a total of 11 lbs. I did notice that if I weigh myself everyday there was a few days where I didn't lose but then would notice a 3 lb drop so that made up for it. :) Also note worthy is that I can feel a large difference already in body composition. When I pinch a bit of fat on my belly it is "softer" if that makes sense.

For exercise I'm doing one spin class in phase 1, a pump class in Phase 2, and 2 days of yoga in phase 3.

I feel much better this week and have a handle on the meal maps- I got a PDF of the recipes, planned meal maps, blank meal maps and food lists to print out with the CD so they have plenty of room to write.

I've been making my own maps using a few recipes and the food lists. I have 35 lbs to lose so I'm adding the extra 1/2 portions and eating lots of veg. I find it to be lots of food to eat and it does take planning but can be done inexpensively. I don't want to use a microwave to reheat so I'm not making large batches I simply think about what I want a few days in advance and buy enough fresh for the days that I need.

Initially I found phase 2 challenging as I am vegetarian. I was trying to avoid soy but have added the organic soy beans, organic tofu & tempeh that she allows for vegetarians in phase 2 and this week felt much better.

I'm going to continue as it gets better each week!
I don't know if anyone will find my review helpful but I'm walking the walk and have committed to make a change for myself. It is paying off for me.

For someone who needs to regularize their eating habits, this would be a good start and some of the recipes are simple to prepare and tasty. However, I did not lose much weight and I never cheated so would advise not to set expectations too high.
