Since the early part in this book outlines the police position as being corrupt,bent,call it what you want I believe that not all of them are.However why have STRATHCLYDE POLICE not acted to counter these serious allegations by taking a civil-litigation out on anyone since the book was published? could it be the case that they are not just allegations but are matters of FACT? come on STRATHCLYDE POLICE is your silence so obvious we know you must have something to hide?The public have a right to know,and you have a reputation to defend or have you?

Unlike quite a few Ferris was/is a smart criminal. It's interesting to have it confirmed that the police and 'other powers that be' are also criminal/violent/discriminatory in their actions.Everyone who is poor knows this but middle classers often DON'T know this!
Also Ferris genuinely would like to empower his 'own people' but the system doesn't let him. Having said that, crims are much the same everywhere in the world.Where there is poverty,there is crime and Glasgow has plenty of poverty!I hope this book will perhaps help to create understanding and thereby improve opportunities and aspirations for underpriviliged people.Despite that, Glasgow is a great city!

I almost didn't buy this book because it looks kind of childish, what with the big bold writing switches but I'm realy glad I did. I don't know if all the alligations are true and I'm left with a bunch of questions at the end of the book. Was this intentional Paul? maybe so we'll buy your next book. Well it works for me.

I only bought it in an airport because I was bored and I truly loved it and I think anyone from Glasgow will feel the same. Maybe even anyone from anywhere.

So how about a book called 'The Apprentice' Mr Ferris? Do you do signings?
