This series is amazing - right from book 1, you are drawn into the characters lives and feel like you have a vested interest in th characters lives.

Great story despite a poor ending Feb. 3 2006
By Anna M. Vandenhazel - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
While this is not my favorite House of Winslow story, it's still a good story overall. Joy and Travis lose their parents and younger sister and are forced to live with their selfish uncle who mistreats them and steals their inheritance. Eventually Travis leaves, and Joy goes looking for him. Along the way a circus performer named Chase saves her from unsavory characters, eventually they return to the circus and Chase trains Joy to work with lions and tigers.

My one complaint is that the story cuts off suddenly at the end, leaving the feeling that there should have been more.
God Works Things Out for His Children! Sept. 29 2013

I appreciated the colorful personalities of the characters! I loved the excitement & danger going on throughout the story- I couldn't turn the pages fast enough! My favorite, though, was the way God's message of love & forgiveness was woven throughout the story. Read it for yourself!
