It was an o.k. workout, Jun 1 2010
This review is from: The Firm: Cardio Sculpt (DVD)
I checked this and three other "The Firm" videos out from our local library. This particular one was alright, but, as someone pointed out, going back and forth from the higher step to the lower was somewhat annoying. I don't have one of their steps, but used a chair for the higher-step exercises and a regular exercising step for the lower ones instead.
I'm in somewhat good shape, and did not feel like this video was overly challenging. Of course, I did not use the heavy weights it looked like they were using, but just three- and two- and one-pound weights, since I don't work out with weights often.

I think this DVD/Video is great for beginner to intermediate levels. It gives you good cardio through the exercise, (may be too light for serious long distance runners), and some light weight training. I like it so much because I can use it alternatively with other training.

I really liked this DVD. I was drenched in sweat in minutes, and I'm in good shape!! I like that it is a total body workout. The step parts are great you do need a short step for a lot of them. My husband made me a tall one and I really need a short one now. It's more cardio than most Firm videos but I really wish it had more. That's the only reason it gets 4 stars.
