Not as great as prior years, but still good., Dec 11 2010

The other reviewer is right in that it's not as good as prior years. It's just stills from the full length movies. Nothing as creative as the movie poster spoofs or interpretations of famous paintings. The 2007 and 2008 calendars are still my faves.
Pretty good Futurama is still better than most things out there though.

A little disappointing for fans of past Futurama calendars., Feb 9 2011

Past Futurama calendars have had themes like comic books or famous art, and put a fun Futurama spin on classic comic covers or famous works of art. This year is a collection of screen captures from the various DVD/BRD movies.
Yes it's Futurama, but I really miss the old formula from past Futurama calendars.

Pretty meh all around, save for one redeeming feature..., Jan 7 2011

After twelve years of Futurama calendars, this one seems like the least inventive. After lampooning everything from pulp fiction, comic books and movie posters in past years, Bongo has phoned it in on this one with simple 16x9 still frames from the Season 5 DVD/movies. And every page is emblazoned (to fill space) with the episode title that the still comes from. And since there were only FOUR movies in S5, it gets kinda repetitive. Big disappointment considering the show made a comeback to live TV last year.
The calendar's one redeeming virtue is the centerfold image- a new movie poster for "Bender's Big Score."(not the same as the DVD cover art) It's a definite keeper and suitable for framing.
