The episodes themselves were great. I was a bit disappointed with the series finale, but it wasn't too bad. I just would have liked to see Rose and Miles at least mentioned in the last few episodes. Especially considering the things that happen within those episodes. It makes no sense to just drop his character completely when Rose goes through surgery. A mere mention of where he was would have sufficed, but whatever. The special feature was nice to watch Betty, Bea and Rue talk about the show.The product I've had problems with however. The first set I ordered, the second disc didn't work properly. I already received my replacement from amazon but it has also given me problems from the second and third discs. While playing one episode the picture would freeze randomly and subtitles popped on for no reason, the first set I had the episodes would just freeze completely half way through and the only part that would play after was the end credits. Thankfully it will play, for the most part, on my laptop. However, I'm very disappointed at this. I had no issues with any of the other seasons, granted the only other season I got from amazon was Season 6. Not sure what the problem is with the discs but it's very frustrating.

Great series, too bad I couldn't watch it.... I ordered several seasons of The Golden Girls and loved them all. Season 7 however had faulty discs and 2 of the 3 disks would just freeze randomly in the middle of the episodes. I returned the product and received a new set.Three of the three disks in the second set were faulty.....very disappointing. I really wish I could have watched the final season.

I was excited to have the final season of the Golden Girls, until I started watching the first 3 episodes of Season 7....HORRIBLE....the first 3 episodes whoever wrote it messed around with the characters and their quirks. Finally by episode 4 and onward, it was back to the way the characters were in Season 1-2. I can see that the writers were running out of ideas and "re-hashing" some earlier scripts and giving the same lines to different girls. It seemed obvious to me. And the Golden Girls seemed to be losing their shine, something like Las Vegas after Season 2, how much can you write about a Geriatric group and keep it "fresh"Season 7 worth having......don't really know yet.
