Neely comes from a loud and crazy family. She knows she'll be the one known as the last to get married, and has always been considered a career girl. But, one day at the family dinner she announces that she has been dating a fellow employee and that they will be getting married soon. It causes an uproar, since she had kept it such a secret. No one even knew she had a boyfriend! But she is sure that he is "the one". Now, she has to make sure her family doesn't scare him away!
THE GOOD KIND OF CRAZY is the type of story that was filled with crazy and eccentric characters and a lot of family love. Neely Mason is the conservative one in the family and is rather embarrassed by them. She wishes her family was more like her fiancés', two parents who do not hover over their only son Robert. But what Neely doesn't understand (yet) is that her family loves her, and loves each other, and that is why they are nosy and hover all over each.
While this reviewer enjoyed the book, it was hard to believe that Robert and Neely were made for each other, let alone fit to marry. It seemed like the two were getting hitched when they barely knew the other person. One scene after another had them arguing about one thing or another, and even Neely seemed to be one that was not willing to give up her freedom. It was amazing that the two made it to the altar. Despite what one may think of as an unlikely couple, the novel as a whole moves along at a good pace and the various supporting characters will keep the reader interested. THE GOOD KIND OF CRAZY comes recommended for those looking for a diversion to pass an afternoon away. - courtesy of Loveromancesandmore
