HASH(0xa1f94750) out of 5 stars The Groovy Greeks and The Rotten Romans--Great, as always! Nov. 30 2009

We love all the Terry Deary books. My sons read them all (my sons are now in 7th and 9th grades) as they do great summaries of key points and offering stunning and gross tidbits to really make it easy to remember those key elements. This is how to LEARN history as you really remember it this way.

HASH(0xa1f94b7c) out of 5 stars 13 years later... Dec 23 2011

Format: Paperback
I read these series of books as a kid, and I got to say even after so many years, i still remember the funny style I learned Greek mythology and the mythology itself. Nothing was forgotten. As I grew older and had to study mythology in class, I was the smart one who knew a thing or two about mythology. Because of these books. I'm 21 now and god, I kept my copies of this collection. Even after how may years, i want to read them again.

HASH(0xa1f94c9c) out of 5 stars Good history read July 29 2011

My daughter who is 8 loves these books and my 12 year old son reads them when she is done. They do a good job of presenting history in an entertaining way. They can be a bit gruesome, but history was that way. They have facts that I didn't even know.
HASH(0xa1f94e94) out of 5 stars It is both funny and educational Feb. 16 2015

Our whole family loves it. It is both funny and educational. My son is a devoted reader of the Rick Riordan series (Percy Jackson), and although he already knew a lot about Greeks and Romans, this book came really handy.
