Loved this series and was sad it didn't have a longer run. It was a sensitive and intelligent exploration of fraught and tangled family ties, and the usefulness of making living amends via love and service, however painful.The emotional pitch and tension was sometimes exquisite, and invariably understated in the performances. Scripts and acting always layered and multi-dimensional - not a fast-food item in the menu of television entertainnment or time-passing for its own sake. If lox2bagel is still keen to sell this rarity at half price, list it here and I'd snap it up in a heartbeat.

I watched the Mentalist on DVD and loved the actor, and found this series The Guardian because of the actor. Didn't know anything about this series, but have watched every episode and LOVE it!! The storyline is fabulous!! Very entertaining!!

the omly good series simon baker did was the mentalist...the guardian NOT worth watching..poor cast ..poor story..poor acting...would gladly sell it for half- price!
