5.0 out of 5 stars Superb translation, April 17 2011
By Jack Knight "Jack" - Published on Amazon.com
You can find a number of other translations of the Tao Teh Ching online, but this one is by far my favorite. Wei manages to pull out a lot of poetry, while still keeping to the original words and structure. A great balance. His commentary on the chapters is enlightening and he draws a number of parallels to Christian texts. An essential part of my library.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth reading for me, Dec 30 2005
By Robert Cadigan "Bob C" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Guiding Light of Lao Tzu: A New Translation and Commentary on the Tao Teh Ching (Hardcover)
I first saw this book in the public library. Much of the material made a lot of sense to me. The book links Tao to Christianity. I enjoyed the entire book. The author Henery Wei has my respect and thanks this very well written book.
