Bought this along with the book. Book was a disappointment but this little diary will be fun to keep a quick update of life events.

First of all this journal is so cute and unique in appearance! It has a vintage-y look and is a small but thick size that you don't see often. Its nice that it doesn't look girly like many journals so its great for males too. Inside the journal is neatly laid out with a simple format too fill in. This is such a great idea for a journal. The majority of people are unable to regularly fill out a journal, usually due to the effort and time involved. This memento bypasses that roadblock by letting you only write a snippet about your day; a snippet that would most likely otherwise not be recorded and will be invaluable to look back upon in years to come.

I read Gretchen's book The Happiness Project last year at this time and fell in love with it. My best friend and I were pleasantly surprised to find The Happiness Project Journal.For the past month we have both been diligently recording our highlights from our day. I have never had the focus and commitment to keep a journal, until now. It's amazing how you can encapsulate a day with a sentence or two, just enough information to trigger those memories. The journal allows you to keep a five year record of your life, I'm excited to compare from year to year my thoughts, actions and in general where life will take me. I highly recommend this journal; it's perfect for anyone who wants to bring into their life a bit of reflection and perhaps a note of personal development.
