A Taste of Heaven Itself,

Even though I have read all 3 books before, I knew I had to get this 3-in-1 volume because, out of all of Ted Dekker's books, I have found these 3 to be right at the top of my 'personal favourites' list, especially 'Heaven's Wager' and 'When Heaven Weeps'. All three stories (and especially 'When Heaven Weeps') bring a whole new perspective of the love that God has for every one of us, and the love that we should show to all people, whether we simply pass them on the street, or they are our significant other. I would suggest reading 'When Heaven Weeps' first because, even though 'Heaven's Wager' was written first, 'When Heaven Weeps' comes first chronologically and it nicely sets up the Helen character for the next two books, 'Heaven's Wager' and 'Thunder of Heaven'. For any long-time Dekker fan this is a 'can't miss' and it is also the perfect place to start out for anyone who has read little-to-no Dekker, but would like to get into him (which I highly recomend), and for this price (under $20) you can almost not afford to NOT buy it!

What an excellent book,if you think their is nothing going on in the Heavens for your souls think again. There is a battle going on and Satandoes not want us to have a personal relationship with Christ. He will use every method imaginable to stop it. We need to never stop praying for those we love no matter how long it takes. There is power in the word and in our prayers. I know I have been renewed to pray using intercessory prayer to bring those I love to the knowledge of Christ. Please read this book it will change the way you think.

Excellent book. Well written, captavating. Enlarges the notions of prayer, unconditionnal love and forgivness. When you start, you just can't put it down!
