This book is the start of the Heroes of Olympus series which follow the Percy Jackson series.Jason wakes up on the way to a school field trip with no memory of his past. Meanwhile, Percy has been missing from Camp Half-Blood for the past three days. Are the two events connected and if so, how and why? At the end of the Percy Jackson series, Rachel (the new oracle) makes a prophecy that is the main focus of this new excellent series by Rick Riordan. I can't wait until Fall 2011 for part 2!!!

My son and I both loved the first book in Rick Riordan's new series The Heroes of Olympus. It was even funnier and cooler than the first series with Percy which was already quite entertaining. Rick Riordan is amazing, we love his writing style!
