The Hidden Mission Field is an excellent resource to help the church leadership begin and build a Single Parent Family Ministry with simplcity. It offers Biblical foundation, real-life experiences, and practical advice. It also addresses the concerns of church leadership in a respectful and logical manner. I would recommend it to both those with a burden for single parents and church leadership.

I have owned this book for many years. Theresa McKenna has gone through great strides to research this topic. I would never give this book away it is a great resource to continue to back to. I have worked in single mom ministry for years. I know the hardships we face and the labels that go along with this lot in life. Theresa tells the church where their responsibilities lye in this area. If you are thinking of starting a single parent ministry or already have one, I suggest you purchase this book. This will be the single most valuable asset on your book shelf next to the bible.
