This book requires a good attention span! I felt pretty confused for at least the first one hundred pages, and this was my second time reading it! Ludlum does very well helping the reader go through the same things that Noel Holcroft goes through. Ludlum has created and developed a great plot here too. Unfortunately, the ending might not be what you are hoping for, but it is satisfying to the maximum. The pages just keep turning, even when you know you should sleep. Read it.

The Holcroft covenant is another fantastic Ludlum adventure. It is packed with intregue, action and suspense from cover to cover. If you have never read Ludlum this would be a good book to start with. Ludlum has a unique ability to wind and weave a story. He stuffs a novel with more intricate storylines than any author I've read and in such a way that you can not anticipate what's ahead.The Holcroft Covenant is an excellent novel with intellegent villians and a group of determined and fortuitous heros. If you enjoy intrigue and adventure you will enjoy this novel. Check out my other reviews for more Ludlum hit's and misses.

You read stories every day in the business section about Nazi millions being discovered in a secret Swiss bank account. This takes place all over the world. This outstanding book tells about 700 million dollars being stored away in a Swiss bank account to start the Fourth Reich. This money is released by the signature of the children of Nazis who were taken out of the Nazi area aboard submarines. This is a truly spellbinding book that is hard to put down. Read this book and then watch the business section of your newspaper or the Wall Street Journal. You will know what I mean by realistic. It shows great writing by Robert Ludlum. Buy this book.
