5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Perfect!, July 26 2011
By Random Theatre Kid "Bells" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Royal Britain: A magnificent study of Britain's royal and historic heritage with a directory of royalty and over 120 of the most important royal palaces, historic hoes and castles in Britain and Ireland (Hardcover)
I'm a European History buff, so when Christmas rolled around last year my roommate searched a ton of books and this was the one she picked out. It is, without a shred of doubt, the most valuable resource on my shelf! The encyclopedia is (as it should be) comprehensive, but precise and brief. The pictures are exquisite and I love how the book is actually bound too--mine is a leatherbound soft cover and it's magnificent.

Bottom line is, if you're looking for straight facts with no cushioning or B.S., this is absolutely the book for you.
