Followers of Christ may come from many different denominations - but two things we share in common - Salvation through our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ, and an almost universal understanding that Christians of today have read rightly the signs of the times; we have learned the parable of the fig tree, and we see that it's branch is tender and it has put forth leaves... summer is nigh. (Matt 24:32-34).There are many who have searched scripture and prophecy who point to Europe and Russia as the birthplace of the villain of Revelation, but while this view seems on the surface to be justified, this book points out where that interpretation falls flat. Islam is a religion shrouded in mystery - and that, purposely; I strongly encourage those of faith and even those who lack it to read into the pages of this book and uncover the truth behind the lie - that all "Abrahamic" religions are the same. Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father but through Me." (John 14:6) - could it ever have been more plain?

Joel Richardson gives the reader a different perspective on End Times. He argues effectively that an Islamic, not a revived Roman Empire, Antichrist will emerge. The Islamic Mahdi, and pseudo-Jesus smacks of the Biblical Antichrist and Beast. Sure to stir Islamic followers, and Christians alike. Richardson's book is solid, and a good Berean can investigate his case himself. Recommend it, certainly does put current events in perspective.

Lacks an informed understanding of the Islamic faith,

This is a great book for those who are willing to swallow anything they can find to justify their preconceived notions and hatred for Islam. As for those who are sincere in their search for truth, and would really like to understand the scriptures of the three Abrahamic faiths, a must-read would be The Cross and the Crescent, by Dr. Jerald Dirks. Dr. Dirks was an ordained minister with a Masters degree from Harvard Divinity and who has had the opportunity to study the so-called apocryphal books of the New Testament - those earlier documents that originated nearest the lifetime of Jesus. According to Dr. Dirks, the apocryphal documents are incongruent with what we find in the Bible and hear in Church today. Some may be surprised to hear, however, that they are congruent with the Qur'an. Therefore, one can only assume that the Bible and 'Christianity' which we know today, is not an accurate understanding of the teachings of Jesus. Yes, Muslims revere a different Jesus than the Christians today - Muslims revere the historical Jesus, the Prophet who truly existed.
