5.0 out of 5 stars For the older piano student, Oct 18 2011

This review is from: The Joy of Romantic Piano - Book 2: Piano Solo (Paperback)
Three years ago, I resumed piano lessons -- after a minor interruption of nearly half a century. Agay's books are good for those of us with sophisticated musical tastes (thanks to years of going to concerts and listening to "classical" public radio broadcasts)but less sophisticated playing skills. Not to mention a touch of arthritis. When purchasing any of Agay's anthologies, of course, be sure to check on the playing level (easy, intermediate, advanced, etc.) for which the arrangements are recommended. My 70 year old hands could handle all but one or two of the arrangements in this volume.
