Not collecting dust!,
By Martha Goop (Ontario, Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Joy of Vegan Baking: The Compassionate Cooks' Traditional Treats and Sinful Sweets (Paperback)
I am definitely impressed with this cookbook. The quick biscuits and scones recipes have been getting major workout in my kitchen and the response has been very positive. A drawback is that the ingredients list can get a bit lengthy and I rarely use the suggested egg replacement as I don't like eating processed foods. Many times I just use a banana or flax seed as the egg replacement and things work out!

I've only made a couple of recipes so far...but both with rave reviews...as a matter of fact - the "mexican wedding cookies" have become my signature cookie and are a huge hit with my non-vegan friends and family. No matter how many I make there are never any left over. I can't wait to try more!
