If you are a HUGE Pilcher fan like me, then you want to get your hands on absolutely anything. This tiny book is not just 60 pages, it is pages the size of your hand. Might be disappointing....

I'd been searching high and low for "The Key" and was happy to have found it. However, I had no idea it was such a tiny, short story (combined with two other stories for this book). I enjoyed reading the stories, but I don't think I would have paid what I did for the book had I know how short it was.

In The Key, Australian nurse, Ruth Conway, travels from London to the Cotswolds one weekend, looking for Stenton, the house her grandmother owned, the house her mother grew up in, the house she feels she knows so very well from her mother's many stories. But she is in for a disappointment when she finally finds the house. However, meeting Gavin Armitage, the owner, goes a long way to making up for it.
